Michael Cotey - A former student of Dr. Stanton, Michael is a consultant for Grants As You Go™, bringing his disciplined work ethic, skill of storytelling, and appreciation for detail to the program. Michael holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While a student at UW-Milwaukee, Michael coordinated the Milwaukee County High School Theatre Workshop Day two years in a row and oversaw the theatre department’s school matinee program. He served as associate producer and script supervisor on Tracks, an independent film produced by Niels Mueller, writer/director of The Assassination of Richard Nixon. Michael also designs websites part-time, including the Write Now! Consulting website and his own: www.MichaelCotey.com.

Laurie Risch - A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Laurie Risch has been helping middle and senior high school students become better writers for many years. She is an experienced editor and serious word nerd who has been known to lose all track of time while paging through the dictionary and is proud to be the go-to person for all questions grammatical from colleagues, family, and friends. Laurie is currently writing several picture books for pre-school children and pursuing a masters in English, Writing Concentration, through Mount Mary College.
